NUDGES policy blueprints
NUDGES Policy Blueprints – is a strategic document that builds on the results of the project’s pilot actions and translates them into practical guidance for public authorities. It brings together the key insights gained from testing behavioural and cultural nudges across different Mediterranean contexts and turns them into a structured framework that policymakers can use in real-world settings.
The document goes beyond simply reporting findings by showing how these approaches can be embedded into existing climate and sustainability policies. It outlines how behavioural interventions can complement traditional tools such as regulation and financial incentives, making climate-friendly choices more intuitive, engaging, and effective for citizens. In doing so, it connects experimental evidence with policy design, helping authorities understand not only what works, but how to apply it in practice.
Overall, the blueprint’s role is to support the shift from small-scale experimentation to broader policy uptake, offering concrete directions for integrating, scaling, and institutionalising behavioural approaches within local, regional, and national governance frameworks.
